It’s that time of the year to start thinking about what we’ve learned, how we’ve changed, and what we want to do differently in 2011. And right now, I’m not sure how to sum up 2010. I always heard growing up that what starts like a lion will end like a lamb. This year definitely disproves that. My year of risk has involved hurt, vulnerability, fear, doubt, love, surprises, and joys. I’m not the same person I was 11 months ago in both small and significant ways. My vision for my life has changed and the storm of transition hasn’t subsided.
So, over Christmas I’m hoping to sort through my heart a bit more; dig a little deeper and have a more eloquent way to explain my past year.
What are you looking forward to the most this Christmas?
